Our Story

DRE Systems was founded on the background of grassroots friendship and the desire to create a company where internal culture allows the company to thrive, making clients and members feel at home within community.

Our Directors, Rohan Donnelly and Dan McNicholas, together provide over 25 years’ experience in the electrical industry. Our extensive skill set enables us to deliver quality over a wide range of both greenfield and brownfield projects.

As a new company, our current portfolio is small, but we have vast experience on major sites around Wellington and afar, including for example, Wellington Hospital, Firth Aggregates and Monash University, Melbourne. We have significant experience in the electrical sector, ranging from site based planned preventative maintenance, industrial breakdowns of plant and machinery through to bespoke control system design and access control equipment. Both Director’s personal careers in the electrical industry have established their reputation, with employers and clients, as trusted “go to” men who can always be counted on to deliver quality results in the manner required.
